The charts are set on canvas and attached to a wood rod that runs along the bottom. Distributed by the Chicago based company Denoyer-Geppert, I believe the illustrations and research for each chart was done in Berlin as the names of the professors are written in German as well as stated in the each corner.
Each chart displays“number tabs” on each corner, the professor’s names, location, and the scientific name of the chart.
Each chart measures approx 39.5” x 47” a nice statement piece for any wall!
Ooh, I strangely adore these - especially the frog one. I think I would have a hard time convincing my boyfriend (and my bank) though! I might save up and surprise him anyway! x

ReplyDeleteI was just in Minneapolis at Hunt & Gather and got a set of 6 world maps (wall hanger included) for a song. Not as unique as these prestine things, but cool none the less.
Nice spot!
