Super Secret Project Revealed!

I’m pretty sure my heart skipped a few beats when I came across these old school biology charts. Once used in a school room, these pull down charts display everything from frog cells to twin formation. Each chart is illustrated in soft colors and shades. They easily make things like frog eggs and reproduction look interesting and beautiful at the same time.

The charts are set on canvas and attached to a wood rod that runs along the bottom. Distributed by the Chicago based company Denoyer-Geppert, I believe the illustrations and research for each chart was done in Berlin as the names of the professors are written in German as well as stated in the each corner.

Each chart displays“number tabs” on each corner, the professor’s names, location, and the scientific name of the chart.

Each chart measures approx 39.5” x 47” a nice statement piece for any wall!

  1. Ooh, I strangely adore these - especially the frog one. I think I would have a hard time convincing my boyfriend (and my bank) though! I might save up and surprise him anyway! x

  2. these are so very cool! What an amazing find! :)

  3. My favorites are the frog and nerve charts. Such a great find girlie!

  4. These are awesome! What a fun find!

  5. oh. my. goodness. I cant even begin to tell you how much i love these. I want them. I want them heart tells me yes, my bank tells me no.

  6. Oh you lucky lucky girl. I love them and they will get snatched up quick I am sure.

I was just in Minneapolis at Hunt & Gather and got a set of 6 world maps (wall hanger included) for a song. Not as unique as these prestine things, but cool none the less.

    Nice spot!
