Help! Round Two
Sorry to keep babbling on about shoes, but my dear (stylish) friend Kelly just informed me of Designer Matt Bernson and I can't get these two shoes out of my mind! I love the wood bottoms on the wedges and I love the thick straps on the gladiator black ones...The black ones are something I could wear everyday but have no heel. I'm leaning toward the black ones, but what do you think? Funny how I "needed" a pair of wedges...I did order the Calvins since I'm leaving Sunday and have little time, so we'll see how they compare too. Return policies are so nice...

Help! a question for you...
Ok ladies (and gentlemen-if there are any who read this?) I need your help regarding shoes. As noted in my other blog Hello Lindello, I am leaving this Sunday for NYC to pick out clothing lines for a new boutique that is opening up here. I recently became a buyer! I will be on my feet all day surrounded by stylish people so I need to look the part but want to be somewhat comfortable. Besides packing leather flats, Frye boots, and grey heels, I need a pair of wedges. I have done some research and have picked out these two options. I am leaning toward option two because I'm not a huge fan of cork bottoms and I think they are a little edgier...What do you think?! Thanks!

Etsy Spring Purchases
I thought I would share some recent Etsy purchases I made. I love how this season so many people are wearing floral. It makes me want to sip tea and go skipping down the sidewalk. I found this flower belt made by The Gleam of Rose Tea (cute name huh?) and thought it looked so adorable with her floral dress featured in the picture I just had to have one. AND to make things even better, I found my own perfect floral mini dress on Lithilogica. It came yesterday and fits perfect. Both these Etsy shops have awesome vintage and are run be some sweet ladies. Go check them out this weekend!

I heart etsy: Scarves
No matter what season it is you will always catch me wearing a scarf at some point. I find them not only stylish, but comforting as well. They are like constant hug or a blankie. Here are some I have favorited on etsy recently.
{I wish I had this sweet birdie scarf in time for Easter Sunday. By sealionvintage}
{I've been eyeing this cool comfy scissor print scarf from SnoozerLoser for awhile now. I kind of want to get it for my sweet hairdresser Adeline. They have some awesome clothes too}
{I'm in love with this line Necklush. How unique and interesting! I can definitely foresee me wearing one of these in the near future. Many colors and prints to choose from too}

Sneak Peek Weekend
Hola! This weekend the shop will be updated with some great desk accessories and random unique finds. I've been trying really hard to keep my desk area organized. I find that having the right stuff helps! You may not have a personal secretary, but who needs one when you have such great organizational tools, right?
{I realize this does not fit in with the whole "desk" theme, but I had to throw at least one different thing in the mix! Do you know what this is? It's a plate carrier! The middle unwraps so you can place dishes inside! It has a built in wood base so your plates or casseroles stay put and the wood handles allow you to carry it to picnics and luncheons}
{This wood weathered desk organizer is not only pretty to look at, but very handy too. Different slots make room for rulers, pens, and paper clips. Holes line the back for pencils. Every desk needs one of these}
{This industrial stapler has held the test of time. Its shape has an art deco appeal, while its color and sturdiness are no dainty matter. Already has some staplers inside so your ready to go!}
{Don't let bills and receipts clutter your space, keep them organized and in one place with this bill spike (while at the same time letting some aggression out!). This one is especially nice since it has a neat topper attached to cover the point}

Treasury Goodness
Etsy seller Royal Buffet made this lovely Hello, Pink Rabbit Treasury. She even used my favorite word "hello". I love the items she chose and the "fab" tray is one of them! Thanks Mollie! Be sure to check out her shop. She makes the loveliest paper decorations. I bought a garland of paper birds from her shop and have it in my kitchen window. It makes the room so cheerful!

Sunday Sneak Peek!
I'm really excited about today's sneak peek because I love every item. Having a minimalist sense of style, its easy to let most things go. I can at least enjoy them for awhile until they sell, but for the most part I am happy to send them off to new home. These items, however, will be a little more hard to let go as I find them fitting into my personal style. Don't worry though- you WILL be seeing these in the shop this week. Enjoy!
{A brass Hendryx antique birdcage...::sigh:: How charming and lovely can one little cage be? This one is the best one I've ever come across. It has the perfect amount of wear and tarnish. Just in time for spring!}
{This unique large modern candelabra was hand made by a little old man. He made this years ago, and I must have never gotten around to using it. I love how solid it feels. This would look great in modern simple dining room, don't you think? You could also paint it a fun color, or a nice glossy black or white }
{This large "fab" tray brightens up any room its in. These trays were all the rage in the 70s using a "special process" of sealing floral fabric inside a polyester composition}
{This tiny chair is perfect for your children's room or a place to set a plant or books. It rusted teal legs and worn wood add to its charming school house vibe, while it combination of industrial metal and wood give it a modern edge}

Sneak Peek Weekend!
This weekend I'll be adding some fun industrial items to the shop. These make for great displays and are great conversation pieces. These finds make me think of what it would be like to be a kid in the sixties, and what you might find your dad or brother playing around with...
I was pretty excited when I came across this vintage science kit. It comes in a wood box that opens up to a world of fun! You won't believe the stuff that fits inside this thing. It even has its own working light so you can conduct your secret experiments in the dark when everyone is asleep... OooOOh
I love the color and clunkiness of this light. A great piece to have on a shelf on top of books or old records.
