Sneak Peek Sunday

Check out these new items coming this week to Hello Victory. Plus you might be finding some other things that might be up your alley if you like bowling (no pun intended) and industrial decor ( I realize that's an odd combo...).The last teal truck I had was a hit, so I thought I would get a jeep this time since its summer =)These hand stitched flowers are in the tiniest frame. Perhaps a perfect touch to the right wall
Industrial yet classic, this old mailbox would be great used as the real thing or for misc. papersAnother globe, but small and doubles as a coin bank. A great display for a little boy or girls room

Just in....

I just put these in the shop....Enjoy your weekend! {I can picture hats & gloves stuffed in this basket near your front door. Its nifty brackets allow it to be hung on a wall!} {You really can't have enough globes can you? The stand on this one is very mid century modern and would look exceptional alone or with a collection.}
{I love teak dishes. These ones are a perfect size for appetizers and even have a finger hold so you can chat, eat, and drink your martini...}

Mid Century Illustrations

Illustrations can be a great way to add a little whimsy to your room decor. These household items could have been just left blank, but how fun would that be? Instead, they were painted with dainty lines, muted colors, and everyday object like your afternoon snack. {This large pot arrived in perfect time for summer. Its nice and big so it could hold a plant or your umbrella!}
{These illustrated plates from designer Moritz Kennel have the best illustrations of men in the Alps. I love the purple hue he used}
{I wish they still made liquor bottles like this one! A prince and his horse sing by a castle trying to get the attention of the princess inside. This bottle would make a lovely vase in a little girls room}

There will be a little taste of everything coming this week. From retro to kitschy to mid century modern, these items are classic examples from their time period:
{This is one view of the cafe curtains being listed tomorrow. A great bargello style pattern of the classic colors you would expect to see in this timeless piece. A 3 piece set in great condition}{I love the idea of displaying your art on vintage clip boards. This faux bois one is especially great!}
{One of the great things about summer is drying your clothes outside. This 50's style clothespin bag would look charming dangling off your clothesline. So sweet!}

Small Finds

Hey there! Sorry its been awhile since my last post but I was out of the country in St.Lucia for my dads wedding. It was quite beautiful and very nice to be in warm weather! I even snorkeled with a school of squids! Now I'm back in MN wearing wool socks and mittens....::sigh:: Today I'm going to be adding some new things to shop that are small treasures. They say good things come in small packages and I thinking these vintage finds fit the bill. They may be small in size, but huge in cuteness and style!{These small steel shakers have deco letters and a sleek modern design} {This shot glass has a baby and mama deer silhouette painted on it. Fill it with wax from your local craft store and viola! you have a very cute candle!}{I wish they still made these for your film. A great little canister for little odds and ends.}
{A Hansel and Gretal piggy bank? Yup! There's a little slot in the back for your coins. This little guy is unique and charming. A great display in children's room}

Paint By Numbers America!

I always find fun things over at Somethings Hiding Here. This time they have America paint by number silhouettes! Wouldn't it be fun to own a few of these? They look so good paired together. Their offering them at a reduced price, so get them while you can!

Sneak Peek: Unusual Finds!

I find a lot of quirky things while vintage shopping. These were borderline (well, maybe the napkin holder is pretty quirky..), and although not my personal taste, I think someone out there might enjoy them. {This plaque has history and meaning. I wonder who owned it and what would their view on our country be today}
{A turquoise spotted ballerina lamp. In the right house, this could look very cool}
{I love perpetual calendars, this one has a religious twist on the more traditional ones I come across featuring a cross and staff}
{This napkin holder was so weird I just had to buy it. It has a lion tamer on one side, and a large looking lady on the other...One question: WHY?}
